LONDON, May 10th, 2022 – Absolute Software™, a leader in self-healing endpoint and secure access solutions, has today announced that it has expanded operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
This expansion follows a period of significant growth across the region, fueled by Absolute’s extensive global partner network and increasing demand for remote working security. Additionally, with its acquisition of NetMotion last year, the company is well-positioned to accelerate operations and meet significant customer needs with its combined Secure Endpoint and Secure Access product portfolio.
Christy Wyatt, President and CEO at Absolute, comments:
“Our European expansion comes as we are seeing a strong and growing customer base abroad, with increasing interest in robust endpoint-centric security solutions to support large, scalable hybrid and remote working models.
“We are the only resilient zero trust security provider embedded in over a half billion devices. By extending our capabilities more broadly across the region, we are pleased to secure more organisations, enable productivity, and reduce the overall attack surface in this new work era.”
As part of its EMEA expansion, Absolute has made significant investments in building out its European infrastructure with the opening of a dedicated data centre, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Achi Lewis, a proven enterprise security industry leader, has also been appointed as Area Vice President of EMEA to oversee the company’s go-to-market strategy in the region, including establishing relationships with key customers and growing its partner network.
Mr. Lewis has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise security software sales and extensive knowledge of the challenges customers face today. He joins Absolute by way of the NetMotion acquisition, where he led EMEA sales for four years. Achi is joined by a number of new hires in the region across strategic sales, marketing, and customer success.
Achi Lewis, Vice President, EMEA at Absolute Software, comments:
“Absolute’s expanded presence positions us to better focus on local customer needs and support our growing network of partners and customers in the region.
“I am thrilled to be heading up the expansion across EMEA, and delivering resilient security solutions that will protect businesses regardless of where or how their employees are working.”
Shane Taylor, CEO & Co-Founder at Mobliciti, who works with Absolute Software, commented on the value of their partnership:
“Managing a hybrid workforce is complex, so choosing the right technology partner is paramount. Absolute has allowed us to offer our customers an always connected, reliable and secure solution to access corporate resources from anywhere. This has opened new avenues of revenue for us, forming an integral part of our strategy. Our joint commitment to the Legal & Finance industry has proved to be a strategic partnership which we are excited to grow over the coming years.”
Sven Gölles, Chief Information Officer at Lincoln International, who works with Absolute Software, commented on how they are leveraging resilient zero trust:
“With our employees working anywhere, we needed a cloud-based secure access solution with a single view. In that same view, Absolute’s advanced capabilities splits all the different details for services and rules for all of our different internal resources, easily enabling secure access to our hybrid and remote workforce and ensuring a premier user experience. We have already started to implement the solution across all of our European offices.”
