- This news sees Quean Clean entering into a 7 billion pound-a-year industry
- Midlands-based Founder Stephen Tombs sees this as ‘a wonderful new step’
- Quean Clean will now have access to over 35,000 crew members in the YACHTNEEDS database
Quean Clean, the Coventry-based specialist cleaning provider, has struck up a partnership with YACHTNEEDS, the world-renowned, Monaco-based digital superyacht marketing company, known as ‘the Amazon for yachting’, with every product a yacht crew could wish for at their fingertips.
The partnership has enabled Quean Clean to sell its cleaning products on the YACHTNEEDS marketplace, allowing them access to its database of over 35,000 crew members, along with their 2 million users. The established online marketplace sells everything a yacht crew needs from up on the deck to down in the galley, and now, thanks to QueanClean, all of their ship cleaning supplies.
Quean Clean, which has been delivering its range of specialist cleaning products to both the commercial and domestic sectors for over 20 years, will also now have a platform to sell in a thriving industry. In 2022, the yachting industry was valued at over 7 billion pounds, with this valuation estimated to grow year on year through 2030.
Stephen Tombs, founder of Quean Clean: “This deal with YACHTNEEDS allows us to access an entirely new market and paves the way for future partnerships on the road ahead. We see this as a wonderful new step for our company as we venture into different sectors.”
“Being a midlands-based business outside of the bigger UK cities, it can sometimes be hard to be heard over the noise, but this win has given our team confidence to continue to expand. We are proud of what we have achieved so far in this space and are excited to move forward.
From starting out developing his own stainless steel cleaner in 2000, founder Stephen Tombs has taken Quean Clean from strength to strength, expanding his product line and his client base. Quean Clean continues to aim to develop the best cleaning products in the industry that not only clean but preserve stone, steel, glass and composite surfaces.
