TM Insight, an Asia Pacific consulting company specialising in supply chain, property advisory and property management services, today launched a new ecommerce and digital division. The new offering expands TM Insight’s services to capture the demand for ecommerce expertise alongside the rapid shift towards online by consumers and businesses globally.

Prior to COVID-19, it was estimated the digital economy will reach US$300 billion by 2025 across Southeast Asia[1]. The acceleration of ecommerce trends during the pandemic means this projection is likely to be surpassed quickly, and businesses have an opportunity to capitalise on the potential for online growth and scale.

TM Insight’s ecommerce and digital division will help clients build, scale, and optimise their ecommerce and omnichannel businesses across the region. From commercial and onsite management to customer experience and data-driven marketing advice, TM Insight will help clients assess and develop their strategic, organisational and financial abilities for ecommerce, as well as help them build core capabilities to see success online.

Travis Erridge, CEO of TM Insight, said, “We are seeing an incredible acceleration in ecommerce growth, with global online retail expected to reach up to US $10 trillion by 2023[2]. With this, having an online presence is now crucial for retailers’ business strategies and defines supply chain and property decisions.

“The team at TM Insight is looking forward to creating holistic ecommerce, omnichannel and supply chain strategies to help our clients reimagine what success looks like in the digital age.”

The launch of the new business division is bolstered by the appointments of senior global innovators in ecommerce.

Mitch Bittermann, former Director, Ecommerce, Southeast Asia, at adidas, will take on the role as Executive Vice President of Ecommerce for TM Insight APAC, based in Singapore. Nicole Scherholz Cipolla and Jan Becker, former executives at Global Fashion Group (parent company of The Iconic) and Zalora respectively, join the team as Executive Directors of Ecommerce APAC, based in Australia.

“I’m incredibly excited to bring together a talented team with more than 50 years of global experience to help TM Insight’s customers across Asia Pacific,” Travis adds.

“Having built and scaled major ecommerce and omnichannel businesses across Europe, USA and Asia, the team’s digital expertise complements TM Insight’s established leadership in supply chain transformations. I’m proud to be a part of this game-changing offering for the industry,” said Mitch.

Mitch, along with Nicole and Jan, will lead TM Insight’s ecommerce and digital offering across Asia-Pacific, working with the broader supply chain and property consulting business to provide customers a true end-to-end service offering for retail and supply chain transformations.
